9" Doulton Ultracarb Ceramic Carbon Cartridge – 0.5 Micron
The Doulton Ultracarb is a premium ceramic carbon cartridge with a 0.5 micron rating, designed for effective reduction of:
- Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts (99.999%)
- Lead and other heavy metals
- Harmful bacteria including E. coli, Cholera, Shigella, Salmonella, Klebsiella Terrigena, and more
- PFOA & PFOS (forever chemicals) – tested and rated for removal
This 8¾ Inch (227mm) cartridge is rated for 4,000 litres and is ideal where water quality may be unknown. Its ceramic outer layer can be cleaned and reused, helping extend the lifespan, though it is recommended to replace it every 12 months.
The Ultracarb is also suitable for non-chlorinated water supplies, thanks to its bacteria and E. coli reduction rating.
