Aqua Pro UV Ballast BA-2040W, 20–40 Watt
This Aqua Pro UV Ballast is a replacement power supply suitable for selected Aqua Pro ultraviolet water sterilisation systems. It is designed to power compatible 20 to 40 watt UV lamps.

Important Compatibility Note
Please note: This ballast does not suit Aqua Pro 173, 175, 177 or 179 models with hour counters. If you are looking for ballasts for those models, please contact us as we may also stock suitable options.
Recommended Alternative
When considering this ballast for compatible higher-wattage systems, we recommend also looking at the Top Aqua 40–55 Watt Ballast . It is generally a more cost-effective option and may offer a slightly better service life.
Important: The Top Aqua 40–55 Watt Ballast is not suitable for the Aqua Pro 20 Watt Model 172.

This ballast is used to power compatible ultraviolet lamps, helping maintain reliable UV sterilisation performance in suitable water treatment systems.
Power Supply Warning
This UV ballast requires a stable power supply. Damage caused by power surges, voltage fluctuations, brownouts, blackouts, lightning, generator/inverter supply issues, incorrect voltage, poor earthing, moisture ingress, or incorrect installation is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
For rural, off-grid, solar/inverter-backed, generator-fed, or unstable power supplies, we recommend a UPS or power conditioning.
