The Q-Series is the ultimate "user friendly" inline filter on the market. Replacement of the spent media bed is completed in a matter of seconds by detaching the filter body from a permanent head with a twist of the wrist. The new filter body is just as easily threaded into the head and the replacement is then complete.

Triple Q series deionization has the added bonus of no waste water and also no storage tank taking up useful space.  Utilising modern technology with on board monitoring equipment.  Factory set to 2 parts per million the unit will tell you when the water is no longer pure enough to supply the autoclave system via audible alarm and flashing light. The monitor with alarm for 20 seconds every ten minutes until the deionization cartridge is replaced and has return back to a safe level to supply the autoclave.  Also included is a hand held TDS meter to verify the purity of the system.

Water Filters Fit for the Lab

The use of tap water in cleaning up laboratory apparatuses results in deposition of minerals and other impurities on surfaces. These ugly stains can be seen in the folds and ridges of the equipment. These lessen the shiny effect of a polished or a quality material which makes it particularly unattractive on glass apparatus. However, this is only a part of the aesthetic reason behind rinsing of glasswares and apparatus in distilled water. Stains in laboratory instruments can greatly affect results during tests. Laboratory scientists and chemists avoid these troubles by ensuring they use high quality water in washing their equipment’s.

For sterilization purposes in biotechnology labs, microbiology and in hospitals, distilled water must be used. Bacteria in common water can harm culture and contaminate materials which can make them unsuitable for scientific use. In dentistry, autocalve filters for denticts are used to sterilize a dentist's materials and equipment. An autoclave is a unique device that uses steam at high pressure and temperature to destroy microorganisms. This device is commonly seen in dentistry, general medicine, microbiology and veterinary science. Note that these fields rely much more on sanitation hygiene and microbe-free environment.
