PSI-106S Countertop Water Filter — Pentek CBR2-10
The PSI-106S countertop water filter uses the
Pentek CBR2-10 carbon cartridge for high-capacity drinking-water treatment.
The cartridge has a 0.5 micron rating and is specified for
99.95% reduction of Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts,
along with treatment for lead, mercury and other heavy metals.
It also provides high-capacity treatment for
chlorine, taste, odour, chemicals and VOCs.
Weighing approximately 0.5 kg, this is a substantial carbon cartridge designed for serious filtration performance.

How It Works
- Single-stage Pentek CBR2-10 carbon cartridge — provides fine 0.5 micron filtration with treatment for chlorine, taste, odour, chemicals, VOCs, lead, mercury and other heavy metals, together with cyst reduction claims for Giardia and Cryptosporidium as specified.
The countertop system connects directly to the aerator fitting on a compatible kitchen tap. A diverter allows water to be directed through the filter when filtered drinking water is required, while normal tap operation remains available for everyday use.
Important: This system is not suitable for un-chlorinated water supplies.

Connection & Compatibility
These countertop systems are designed to fit a standard-size aerator thread.
- 13/16″ (21mm) where the thread on the tap spout is male
- 15/16″ (24mm) where the thread inside the tap spout is female, using the supplied adapter
If the aerator thread is not a standard size, this countertop system will not fit without a suitable additional adapter.
Because the system connects to the existing tap, there is normally no need to install a separate drinking-water faucet or permanently modify the sink.

Installation
The PSI-106S comes complete and ready for installation.
Remove the standard aerator from the kitchen tap and connect the supplied countertop diverter fitting to the compatible aerator thread.
Before ordering: Check that your kitchen tap has a removable standard aerator and confirm the thread size. Non-standard, pull-out, pull-down and some specialised mixer taps may not accept a standard countertop diverter fitting.
