Cartridge is made up of 1.8kg Coconut based carbon and 1kg KDF
Coconut carbon has strong treatment for Chemicals such as chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, taste and odour, Coconut carbon has stronger treatment for VOC's (Volatile Organic Substances) which are oils and things like creosote.
Silver Coconut Carbon is used for its anti bacterial properties in use on tank water. Coconut based with colloidal silver impregnation.
Chloramine Based carbon is used in areas where the water is treated with chloramine. Chloramine carbon will remove the ammonia component of the chloramine, a standard carbon will not do this. Will treat all other elements much the same as coconut based carbon also.
